About the event
Centred around the belief that we would all be happier if we spent more time outdoors, connected with our food and our surroundings, Iona runs foraging courses where people can spend the day learning about wild plants and fungi, including, at least 20 edible species, Â as well as some poisons, historical medicinal uses, ecology, folklore, aswell as the unusual odd and unexpected things around us! This really is a fully immersive way to slow down, reconnect and learn skills you can take home with you and integrate into your daily life. We always finish the course with a campfire Q & A session, a cooking demonstration, and a 3 course meal including some of the plants or fungi we have learned about that day.
Courses run from 10-6pm, meeting at Tablehurst cafe garden. £75.00 per person. Please bring a light picnic lunch, and a notebook if you would like to.
