The Farm Shop

Our award-winning farm shop has grown from a tiny, one-day-a-week operation back in the 1990's to the feast of organic food that is on offer today. We focus on our own farm produce supported by excellent organic foodstuffs from a range of mostly local suppliers.

If you can't get to the shop, we also deliver our meat nationwide. Click here for details.

The Butcher's Counter

With the exception of local wild venison, everything on our butcher's counter is reared on the farm. We offer biodynamic beef and lamb and organic pork and chicken all year, all cut to order if required. We cure and smoke our own nitrate-free bacon and make many varieties of butcher's sausages. We also rear ducks, geese and turkeys for Christmas. Everything is reared to the highest standards of welfare and care for the environment, and the only way you will believe how good it tastes is to try it for yourself.

Vegetables and Fruit

Tablehurst Farm incorporates a six hectare fruit and vegetable garden, producing over 90 varieties of exceptional biodynamic fruit and vegetables each year. The garden and the veg stall are about 300m apart, so it is impossible to see how you could buy fresher or more local produce.

Raw Jersey Milk
Milk 2 small.jpg

Tablehurst rears a small herd of grass-fed, biodynamic Jersey cows. The calves stay with their mothers until they are old enough to feed on grass, so we share the milk supply with the herd. Our milk is straight from the cow, not processed in any way. It is on sale from a vending machine outside the shop so you can bring your own container or buy a reusable milk bottle from the shop. Real milk - nutritious, delicious and creamy!

The Pie Kitchen

We produce a range of about 50 different savoury products featuring Tablehurst meat and vegetables. These include individual pies, pasties and sausage rolls, quiches, delicious ready-meals for your freezer, and amazing party pies at Christmas time. Everything is made from scratch here at the farm.

To complement our own produce, we buy in a range of brilliant foodstuffs from our favourite local suppliers. These include bread from Fermento Bakery (baked here on the farm), eggs from Orchard Eggs, juices from Brambletye Fruit Farm, dairy products from our sister farm, Plaw Hatch and cheese from High Weald Dairy. We also have a good stock of essential dry goods and an interesting range of biodynamic and organic wines and beers.
